Purpose of the Website
The website (hereinafter the “Website”) is an international online platform enabling adult users worldwide to connect with others sharing similar interests through platonic connection tools (profiles, messaging, search). It does not promote, facilitate, or organize sexual activities, paid services, prostitution, escort services, or obscene content. All users must strictly comply with applicable laws in their country of access, including but not limited to Indonesian ITE Law No. 11/2008 (as amended), Pornography Law No. 44/2008, and KUHP provisions on prostitution (Arts. 296, 506) when accessing from Indonesia.
Access to the Website
Access is reserved for persons of legal age in their country of residence (at least 21 years old minimum worldwide, including in Indonesia). From Indonesia: strictly limited to non-Indonesian expatriates legally residing there. Indonesian citizens and permanent residents must not access this site. Proof of expatriate status (e.g., KITAS, passport, visa) may be requested at any time by the Website. By accessing, you certify: you are at least 21 years old; you comply fully with all local laws (including ITE/Pornography Laws and cultural norms in Indonesia); you use the Website at your sole responsibility and bear all legal consequences.
Account Creation
Registration is free. You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information; only one account per person is permitted. Proof of expatriate status may be required for Indonesia-based users. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activities conducted through your account. The Website reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts suspected of false information or underage use (under 21).
Use of the Service
The Website provides features such as profile creation/viewing, member search, and messaging solely for legal, platonic contacts between consenting adults aged 21+. You agree to use these features: only for lawful purposes; in compliance with all applicable laws everywhere (e.g., no prostitution, obscene content, or illegal activities under Indonesian law, punishable by up to 12 years imprisonment and IDR 6 billion fines); without bypassing technical/security measures. The Website states a minimum age of 21 for all users and implements reporting mechanisms for misuse.
Content, Behavior, and Reporting
You are fully responsible for all content you publish or exchange (photos, texts, messages). Prohibited: any content involving minors, nudity, sexual acts, violence, coercion, harassment, threats, paid sexual services, impersonation, or violation of public decency/order (absolute under ITE Law Art. 27(1), Pornography Law). No sharing of third-party data/images without authorization. Users must report violations via the “report” button or hello@balibertin.com. The Website will immediately delete illegal content, suspend accounts, and notify authorities (e.g., Kominfo/Police in Indonesia) as required by law.
Personal Data and Privacy
Compliant with applicable global data protection laws. For Indonesia users/access: PDP Law No. 27/2022 requires explicit, informed consent for processing personal data (e.g., email, IP address, profile data, messages, login history). Processing basis, purposes (account management, security, abuse prevention), retention periods, and recipient categories are disclosed at collection. ARCO rights: access, rectification, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), objection, portability. Data subjects may withdraw consent anytime. A Data Protection Officer (DPO) oversees compliance; contact: hello@balibertin.com. Data breach notification within 72 hours to affected users and authorities. No large-scale monitoring or sensitive data processing triggers mandatory DPO registration unless required. Cross-border transfers (e.g., to Switzerland hosting) use adequacy decisions, standard clauses, or consent.
Intellectual Property
The Website’s structure, graphics, and features are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Content you publish remains your property, but you grant the Website a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and transmit it as needed for the service.
Liability
The Website does not verify user information, intervene in exchanges, or guarantee user behavior/safety. It cannot be held liable for: user-provided content accuracy; real-life meetings/consequences; indirect damages, data loss, or service interruptions. Users bear full responsibility for their safety, decisions, and legal compliance. The Website disclaims all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Termination
You may delete your account anytime via settings or by emailing hello@balibertin.com (data erased within legal limits). The Website may suspend, terminate, or block access without notice or compensation for: legal violations, abuse, fraud, underage use (under 21), or non-compliance with these Terms.
Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated anytime; changes are effective upon publication on the Website. Continued use constitutes acceptance. Check regularly.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country from which you access the service. Users accessing from Indonesia irrevocably submit to Indonesian law (including ITE/PDP) and Bali/Jakarta courts for disputes. Comply with local laws or cease use. Electronic agreements are valid per ITE Law Art. 18 and GR 71/2019 (positive consent required, no deemed acceptance).
Minors Protection
The Website prohibits users under 21. Mechanisms exist to verify age if suspected and report child exploitation to authorities immediately.
Severability
If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
